The problem
Every new AI chat starts from zero. You re-type your job, your projects, and how you like answers, again and again.
The fix: one context file
A context file is a short document about you: who you are, your work, current projects, goals, how you like answers, and what to avoid. You write it once, keep it somewhere you control, and paste it into any assistant. It works with any AI and moves with you if you switch.
Keep two versions: the full version for uploads and projects, and a short version under 1,000 characters that fits every settings box (the tightest, ChatGPT Free, allows 1,500).
The universal method (works in any AI)
Open a new chat, paste this line, then your file underneath:
Here is my personal context file. Read it and use it for everything in this chat. You don't need to summarize it back to me. Just reply "Got it" and wait for my first request. [paste your context file here]
